COVID-19 statement

23/03/2020

In these challenging times with the fast-developing situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19), Energy 4 Impact is taking extra precautions to keep our employees safe and continue to provide support to our clients.

We are taking a very cautious approach to this emergency, in line with the decisions of many national governments. Unfortunately this does mean that with immediate effect, some activities, including field trips, face-to-face meetings and events, have been put on hold until further notice. Staff have been instructed to work from home. This is to reduce risk of our field staff both becoming infected and carrying the infection to the beneficiary communities where we work.

We realise this has the potential to disrupt some projects considerably. However, we are working together to identify useful activities, consistent with the project objectives, that can be undertaken without travel to the field, and, where possible, support will be provided remotely.

These measures will have implications for projects and we will strive to communicate these implications to donors, client enterprises, relevant government agencies and other partners, in the weeks to come.

Please take good care of yourself and your loved ones. Stay safe and healthy. Be patient and kind. There is no better time to strengthen our bonds, to stand together (virtually), to help each other through this storm, and come out the other side stronger.
